Monday Murrini's

We are currently holding "Monday Murrini" days at my Studio.....making & practicing some of Loren Stumps fabulous teaching. We are going through our notes and coming up with things we would like to make out of murrini....so that we will end up with a whole lot of little Murrini that we can use in our work.

I must say that it takes a while to make a piece and if it is large you need someone else there to help you pull....but WOW how satisfying at the end!!!

I'm loving working with others at the Studio....and even collaborating on some work at the moment....totally AWESOME!!!!

If anyone would like to create or join a "day session" at my Studio...just let me know!!!

Back from an Amazing Workshop

Wow I have now recovered from the most amazing glass workshop I have ever taken. American Glass Artist & Teacher Loren Stump was in Melbourne for 2 weeks teaching his Loren1 class....and I was there!!! Learning all things glass including Murrini, sculptural and flowers etc for a paperweight. Loren is an amazing and very giving teacher and is worth his weight in gold!!! What a time....my head is buzzing & the ideas are REALLY flowing!!!

The Dreaming Festival

Wow.....what an AMAZING experience I have had at the Dreaming Festival this weekend - the diversity, spirit and positive energy that I have taken away from this will be with me for a very long time....it was a celebration and an uplifting; incredibly talented artists, performers and healers!!!! People's generosity of spirit and heart and soul - a connection and a re-connection....it has changed me in a profound way....I send much luv to all my new brothers and sisters that I have met and connected with & hope that we meet again soon!!!

Hi all....well this is my very first "official" blog posting....how very exciting...not sure what to do but we shall try our best!!!

I am currently working on some new jewellery pieces at the moment for the MOB Store at City Hall where I sell my work, and some work for my Studio and Website.
I also hope to have something available in my Etsy Store VERY soon.
